Let me first start out by saying that I hate talking about myself.  I have found that people who generally talk about themselves are usually arrogant and highly stuck up.  But this is the “About” page and its supposed to talk about somewhat who the author is.

I have been fascinated by being self-sufficient for several decades.  I firmly believe that everyone is too dependent on someone or something else for what they need.  Over 109 years at the start of the century people were just starting to use electricity and get fresh water from the municipal water companies and they only got this if they lived in the city.  Most people did not live in the city and usually got along fine.  Everyone had their own gardens and animals for food and with the exception of certain items which they had to trade for they did not need anything from anyone.

We Are All Slaves to Companies

I firmly believe that we as a society have voluntarily turned ourselves int0 slaves to big corporations.    We are forced to go to work 40 hours every week to places we usually do not want to go and deal with people we do not want to deal with to pay the banks, phone companies, electric companies, natural gas companies, water companies, cable companies, insurance companies, and car companies.  We just hand these people our hard earned money every month no questions asked.

I want to Give As Little Away As Possible

I may not be the brightest person in the entire world but I have a theory that quite often those who give the least amount of their mon

ey to those companies are usually the ones who manage to succeed in life.  The reason??  They have more investment cash to spend of things and items that actually make make them money.  I not advocating being a fanatic but its my goal to cut out what I can with the resources I have.

I love Waste Oil Boilers

When I found out that you could heat your place or garage with waste oil I had to get one.  I did not care what it cost or what it required.  I already have several solar panels and windmills that give me enough power to power my computers in my house.  I wanted to be able to heat my house and garage for free.  Its also was helpful that I had a mobile oil change business that was bringing me in tons of waste oil  that I just gave away or even at times had to pay to get it picked up.

They have Saved Me Thousands
